Three - Hutchison Telecom (Jan 01 - Apr 03)

As Head of User Experience at 3 I was responsible for the Information Architecture and quality of the UI for all of the 3G mobile content products developed by the in-house design team. These products included Weather, Event Calendar, Personal Finance, News, Horoscopes, Ring tones, Wall Paper, Movie Guide, Restaurant Guide, TV Guide, Cricket & other sports. I worked with UI colleagues in the other 3 launch markets in UK, Italy, Sweden, Austria, Hong Kong & Thailand to ensure that 3 developed and documented global User Interface standards.

Com Tech Online/Dimension Data (Mar 99 - Jan 01)

I was Information Architect at CTO/Dimension Data through the dot com boom and bust, much of our work during this period was for large scale e-commerce sites like Innovations, d-store and Ozbuy and marketing sites for larger organisations. I am most proud of our work for government departments such as the Job Search site.

At Tech Talk I transitioned from my role as a programmer working with Shockwave, HTML & CGI scripts to Information Architecture. I did the development for many early sites in the ninemsn network including shockwave and flash games. Later I was Information Architect on moderately sized e-commerce sites like theSpot's Toyspot (sold to David Jones as their e-commerce platform). I also worked on several CD-Roms.

Red Square Productions (July 95 - Jan 97)

I broke off a Graduate Diploma in New Media at the College of Fine Arts (University of NSW) to take up a web developer position at Red Square. There I received a solid foundation in the web production process, creating web pages and web servers and CGI scripting. Highlights of this position where working on the Telstra Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race sites and the steep learning curve involved in creating web sites.
