I think this video on Seth Godin’s site is wonderful & illustrative of human nature but I’m more impressed by guy #1 & #2 than #3. Guy #1 is out there having tremendous fun from the start no matter what anyone thinks, without his actions nothing happens. Guy #2 unlike everyone else sees #1 (“crazy dancing guy”) as an opportunity to have some fun & has the courage to join in hoping his watching friends will see the humor & be impressed. #2 is in Malcolm Gladwell’s parlance a “connector”, someone who acts as a conduit between realms, #3 & the next 10 or so people (#2′s friends) join in & together they form a tipping point. I also admire the guy who had the presence of mind to film the whole thing & keep on filming, though I do wish he’d had a tripod.
